The formal Letters…

Here’s a few more gems…

fL: I know you have been keeping up with rumors surrounding a new “Buffy” movie that may be in the works. What are your thoughts about a big screen feature from this universe without Joss Whedon’s involvement? – Heather J., Gainsville, FL.

JP: Heather, I think we have heard all the “Slayer” stories we can take for a generation. What really needs to happen is a feature film about “Angel” instead. The Vampire thing is hot right now and there are just so many stories to tell. Just cast well and you have an instant classic. And, a film about Angel isn’t so Joss dependant. Could actually soar with a new creative spearhead.

fL: What do the Cavs do if they don’t make the Finals and win it all? – Tom K., Akron, OH.

JP: I know that the logical answer is to do all you can as an organization to keep LeBron and tweak the pieces but I don’t know if that is realistic. Might be best to trade him for a few young players and draft picks. Find a strong power forward and hope the Ewing theory is correct!

fL: The Indians are at the bottom of the Central, 7.5 games out of first. Is it time to panic or will the team right the ship after the All-Star break? – Don M., Cleveland, OH.

JP: Don, it’s time to hit the panic button. I am not one to overreact and I don’t fall prey to melodrama, but it’s time to fire Wedge and make a big trade. Dig into the pockets and spend! Actually, that was an overreaction. Stay the course Don, that is my advice.

fL: Pens vs. Wings. What’s your take? – Elmo T., Windsor, BC.

JP: Penguins in 4.

  1. is the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame worth coming to Cleveland for?

    • Only if you also have time to stop in at Panini’s Bar & Grill for an “overstuffed sandwich” topped with fries and oil and vinegar!

  2. Will any other sport ever overtake one of the big 3 sports in the U.S.?

  3. Until Michelle Kwan retired, I thought so.
