And the QB is…

There has been so much speculation over the Browns starting QB job over the last few weeks that the whole topic is wearing thin. It’s actually a farse.

No way Brady Quinn doesn’t get the nod in order to satiate the masses. It also allows everyone to once and for all determine what this guy can do. Anderson is a great storyline, but he had his chance and blew it.

Honestly, the road to Mangini picking a QB in 2010 has already been paved. He has young players stocked at every position and is licking his chops to bring in “his guy”. The only thing standing in his way is BQ.

If Brady Quinn succeeds, Mangini can claim he was the one that took the chance on him and “trained” him up to be a winner. If he fails, Mangini is free to select a quarterback of his choosing in the coming draft. A win win for sure and a gamble that will only lead to a stronger Cleveland franchise.
