Yes, I accomplished my goal.  In the pouring rain, over hills, with a bloody foot and cramping hamstrings.  13.1 in 2:09:51, with a pace of 9:55.  A time that won’t create a stir, but for me, one that meant a great deal. 

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.  They will soar high on wings like eagles.  They will run and not grow weary.  They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

  2. Congratulations! I just ran my first half this year and know how hard it is to keep that pace under 10:00. I suffered the same foot pain as well as Andy Bernard’s lament. But that just made it feel that much better to finish.
